They needed to evacuate the Detroit airport due to a tornado… Well, we had to go to the bathrooms and the tunnel… Some were in closets.. It was interesting to say the least. So, again we were delayed! Luckily we pushed on and even without boarding passes went to our Madrid gate. We had no tickets and were instructed to exit JFK and go to ticket booth and then back thru security! Thankfully the Europa airlines was ok doing our boarding pass at the gate. A quick dash for food and restrooms.. Now just waiting to board. My next entry will hopefully be tomorrow from beautiful Madrid Spain!
