Intentional Pilgrim

Burgos, Spain

Stew and I and Peter will head to Leon by bus today at 5:20. Girls will stay in Burgos with Silas and meet us on Sunday(maybe) . Stew and I will visit sites in Leon tomorrow and bus to Ponferrada where we will begin walking the Camino again. This leaves 216km to Santiago and another 87km to Finisterra. We will have 24 days to do that… Covering 10-15km per day. Our flight is June 24th out of Santiago to Madrid.  We must make that flight or forfeit the tickets.  It seems alot of pilgrims in the EU have the ability to book an open-ended ticket for the return flight.  I am curious how much more this might have cost.  Our flights to the USA were booked almost 9 months ago – there was no option for the open-ended return date.
