Took the bus to Leon from Burgos at 5:20… Arriving in Leon at 7:20. It was quite a walk to our Albergue, hitting Aldi’s (yes, just like in the states) on the way, arrived at 9:15. Wonderful albergue but filled with 30 or so 16 year olds on a school trip- 7 day walk the Camino field trip- from Ireland.
Our Albergue, Santo Tomas de Canterbury, is very new and very nice. A room with no bunks and 3 beds was awaiting us! So happy they saved our beds! 8 euros and included breakfast!
Tomorrow we will visit Leon and head to Ponferrada to start our walk again.
