So, after turning around and going back to the house only once, we made it to the Erie airport with time to spare. Things looked good. Suitcase with poles and food and knives(lol) checked through to Madrid. Life was sweet.
Took some pictures, anxiety already beginning to wane… Off to security…
Almost skipping to the desk, no line! Beautiful!!
At this point they let us know our flight was delayed 2 hours! Good thing we did not come the recommended 3 hours early! Only 2 hours… So now we sit, side by side on our separate mobile devices… Each in our own world… Still in Erie!
