Spent morning at the cathedral and middle of the day at the museum.
I am not sure whether walking or site seeing is more exhausting! All the stuff we saw was very cool though.
Another change in plans… We were all heading to Leon but ran into Silas and Peter… So the girls will stay in Burgos with Silas. Peter will go on to Leon with Stew and I… Crazy crazy. The girls and maybe Silas will meet up with us in a few days.
While we were in Burgos we ran into many of our friends from various points in our journey… Many have reported dropping out… Due to sickness and injury. Walking everyday on this terrain is more difficult physically than you can imagine. Many have come to the same conclusion as we have… You have to decide if it is about the walk or about seeing and enjoying Spain. Walking 10-15km is do-able… More than that is a strain and leaves no energy to enjoy the towns and the sites.
